Jean Monnet Chair at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University cordially invites you to a webinar, join us on this Saturday (24 April 2021): The eleventh Jean Monnet Chair event will be a webinar by Jean Monnet Professor Özgür Ünal – Eriş. The seminar will talk about the likely effects of Europe, specifically the French Revolution, on the modernisation efforts of the late Ottoman period. The analysis of this time period will also have reflections on the state of nature of the relationship between the EU and Turkey today.
